We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join a young, fast-growing company in the healthcare technology sector. The company is at the cutting edge of providing new, intelligent platforms to make life better for vulnerable people and it’s a really exciting time to join!

Our client designs market-leading platforms and devices for keeping people safe in different situations and as Product Manager, you’ll manage the device range and Azure SaaS platform; defining requirements, organising external & internal team development, test and project teams, and liaising with manufacturers around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management
  • Product Management of Devices (approx. 20) and SaaS platform
  • Liaising with manufacturers
  • Collecting & Defining Requirements
  • Understand CE/UKCA & certifications
  • Managing Product Stocking & Lifecycle
  • Product Marketing input to Marketing
  • Stage Gate product process
  • Manage UAT
  • Product Strategy& Roadmap
Project Management
  • Stakeholder Management Internal & Ext.
  • Manage complex & interdependent tasks & teams
  • Managing Large Customer Projects
Dev Team interface
  • Plan/Manage Agile workload
  • Prioritise and schedule work
  • Interact with the Dev Manager
2nd Line Support Manager
  • Manage 2nd Line Support team
  • Line Manage 2nd line support team (1 person)
  • Ensure effective time management
Team Leader/Management
  • Team members achieving daily/weekly/monthly objectives
  • Training and development of staff
Experience, Knowledge, Abilities
  • Good verbal and non-verbal skills
  • Experience with Product Management of SaaS platforms and/or mobile devices
  • Good understanding of mobile devices and networks
  • Good understanding of databases
  • Good at multi-tasking
  • Experience with CE/UKCA certifications is useful
  • Mobile technology (SIM’s, MO, LBS, GPS)
  • Understanding of SaaS/Web/Database technologies
  • Well organised and good time management skills - able to instil these disciplines in a team
  • Successful DBS Check
  • Experience with Office applications, Project Management tools
  • People Management experience
