Alcor Solutions is keen to hire a Developer Experience Product Manager. The Product Manager for Developer Experience will be responsible for creating and/or enhancing the techniques and technologies used to facilitate SDLC across the Client. The goal is to enable development velocity, unlocking agility and time to business value, whilst proactively promoting Client’s cloud native hosting strategies.

The role will be accountable for the clients unified vision/strategy for Infrastructure/Application/Data Automation and Developer Experience, covering the design, implementation and continuous improvement of standards, processes, and tooling. This should cover concepts such as, Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Continuous Testing, Documentation-as-Code, etc.

The role will partner closely with infrastructure, solution, and data engineering teams, as well as IT operations administrators, supporting IT services across all business functions (e.g. Research & Development, Manufacturing, Commercial, Global Services).

The ideal Product Manager would have experience leading technical products/projects, a detailed understanding of modern SDLC, as well as an extreme attention to detail and an ability to communicate complex concepts.

The Product Manager must be excited about building products that target IT teams (IT for IT), with a focus on the continued scalability, stability, and security of the Client Hybrid Multi-Cloud hosting environment.

What you have:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Ability to lead products that require the coordination of many teams
  • Experience with APIs, platforms, products, and complex systems at scale
  • Experience working with large scale platforms or infrastructure
  • Experience with tools for application development and CI/CD processes
  • Experience with introducing new practices, frameworks and processes to engineering organizations
  • A computer science, math, or science degree, software engineering or relevant experience
