In Car Technologies Limited (www.incartec.co.uk) is a specialist supplier of vehicle interface and fitting solutions. We sell our products on-line and to over 600 trade customers nationally and internationally . We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer with business acumen. This is a new position in our growing Company.

Scope and purpose of position:

This is a full-time role responsible for managing all aspects of one of the Company’s key product groups. (Camera’s, Camera interfaces, Smartphone interfaces, related cabling and accessories). This is a hands-on varied role which requires a high level of technical ability as well as commercial awareness and administrative skills.

You will become an expert in your field providing product support and development to both customers and our sales team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage all products in the range
  • Establish relationships with old and new suppliers and keep up to date with their product specifications, and prices
  • Liaise with suppliers on technical specifications and requirements
  • Quality checking and control.
  • Research and development of new products.
  • Product Technical diagrams and instructions
  • Technical support to dealers and sales team
  • Work closely with web site manager on content
  • Product training and presentations
  • Database and application listings (what fits what)
  • Competitor product analysis
  • Key stakeholder.

Key requirements:

  • Electronics engineering degree
  • Minimum of five years working in automotive electronics
  • A knowledge of Automotive Bus systems ( CAN )
  • Good communicator with the ability to influence others
  • Experience in dealing with China, Korean Manufacturers
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Hands on approach
