We are looking for a data-minded Product Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

Delivering World-Class Products

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is confident working in an agile multi-disciplinary environment.

You’ll lead a delivery team to drive the best product outcomes for our users.

This role is specifically in DWP MI (Management Information) leading work on products relating to MI reporting and visualisation across a broad range of business areas.

Day to day you will

:

• Lead multi-disciplinary product teams working across organisation boundaries to deliver new and constantly evolving MI products and services
• Develop and lead on the vision for multiple MI products, working with Ministers and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Define the MI Dashboard and visualisation product goals and metrics.
• Utilise strategic thinking to focus on outcomes rather than solutions and translate a vision into deliverable goals
• Undertake commercial management, contract negotiations, budgeting and financial control, whilst working alongside and directing multiple external suppliers with line management of both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ensure strategic alignment to emerging architecture, data governance and MI best practice, and engage the technical teams to maintain product validity.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• Product Management and ownership activities within data technology environments.
• Working collaboratively within an agile environment to steer the direction of the teams and deliver the best outcomes.
• Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and key external partners.
• Supporting colleagues to take responsibility for their own learning and development.
• Turning high level and roadmap concepts into actionable backlogs and tasks.

You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient for you.

We offer competitive pay of up to £59, 589
