Product Manager , flexible working , salary up to £32,800

Your new role

This new role involves managing a range of products for one of the UK’s leading educational catalogues.

You will be responsible for buying, developing and implementing product ranges for a range of catalogue products within defined product categories.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Building strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring that KPI’s are met, and managing regular supplier meetings.
  • Control post tender supplier management activities monitoring performance and ensuring that service Level Agreements are adhered to.
  • Ensure that products are correctly specified and provide compliant product specifications to procurement teams for tenders.
  • Meet catalogue income budget targets .
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support and guidance to end customers, colleagues and suppliers.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience of product management preferably related to catalogue products.
  • Experience of retail Buying or merchandising would be desirable .
  • Experience in Supplier relationship management.
  • Competence in Microsoft outlook and Excel
  • Public sector knowledge/ awareness of the education sector would be useful
