Genus ABS is looking for a Product Development Coordinator to manage the Dairy Cornerstone young sire testing programme across the UK. You will support the European Breeding Programme Director to facilitate the onboarding and retention of progressive and genetic driven farmers and, process data to gather insights and drive genetic progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join a global business!

Responsibilities of the Product Development Coordinator:

• Leads and participates in activities for data capture and evaluation of young sites
• Shares knowledge and champions products and services through a variety of communications methods
• Develops new approaches to customer engagement strategies focusing on converting and building loyalty with farmers and key accounts in the Supply Chain
• Anticipates and responds to customer and company needs through stock allocations
• Interprets scientific, commercial, and market data to generate reports and dashboards to display and track performance

Role requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Animal Science, Genetics, Agriculture or similar with some knowledge of dairy cattle genetics
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Microsoft Excel
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an innovative and collaborative approach to work
• Agricultural experience advantageous
