Product Coordinator – Automotive Aftermarket

AProduct Coordinatoropportunity is available within theautomotive aftermarketdivision of a Globalparts manufacturer. Our ideal candidate will have a head for numbers and an analytical mindset. You may have worked within apricing, product or warrantyrole previously and be looking to expand your skillset. A knowledge or experience of theautomotive aftermarketis desirable.

Office based role, commutable from – Essington, Shareshill, Pelsall, Codsall, Featherstone, Cannock, Penkridge, Brownhills, Aldridge, Brownhills, Burntwood, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Wednesbury, Lichfield

Up to 30k Basic + Bonus (up to £100 per month) + enhanced pension + healthcare cashplan + life assurance + bike2work scheme + 25 days holiday + Monday to Friday working.

Reporting to the Product and Marketing Manager and working closely with European headquarters to support the UK product range from a pricing, warranty and technical perspective, the Product Coordinator will become a key member of the aftermarket team.

The Candidate

  • Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in supporting a product range.
  • Ideally this will include pricing, warranty or technical product support.
  • Previous experience of co-ordinating marketing activities is also advantageous.
  • Strong Analytical skills are a must for this role as is a good level of Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Excellent communicator with a customer focussed approach.
  • Experience within the automotive aftermarket or an interest in cars is advantageous, although not essential for candidates with product experience.

The Role

· Support product range updates and communication to internal sales and external customers.

· Evaluate and compare competitor products and range offerings.

· Manage technical and product related enquiries from external customers.

· Understand warranty claims and processes.

· Analyse and maintain external sales reports.

· Provide appropriate marketing aids to fully support and enhance aftermarket activities.

· Support the development, production and distribution of product literature and point of sale material for all brands.

· Support UK business unit with all aftermarket marketing activities.

· Support sales team with customer trade events and training.

· Co-ordinate advertising campaigns and promotional activity.
