The Procurement Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, source, and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance while generating reports to support decision-making. This role requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in supply chain management, combined with expertise in ERP systems, will be key to success in this role Role Implement and manage procurement strategies, policies, and procedures. Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring favourable terms for the organization. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring and evaluating supplier performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and specifications. Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes in a timely manner. Monitor and analyse market trends to identify potential cost savings and process improvements. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate stock levels. Data set up, maintenance and cleansing. Continuously improve data management processes and systems to drive operational efficiency Reporting, KPIs, SLA compliance and visual management in accordance with department / company objectives Support new systems implementation. Create and maintain SOPs and Wis relevant to the role. Responsible for all Supply Chain: procurement/purchasing activities from manufacturing raw materials, QC/Facilities/Engineering/AD/PT/Admin, to lab consumables, engineering/facilities spares through to CAPEX purchases and all site wide contracts – waste, cleaning, equipment maintenance, IT etc. Engage with departmental stakeholders to determine procurement and end to end Supply Chain requirements. Ensure integrity of SAP by maintaining PO data – up to date price, quantity, delivery dates, order confirmations etc. Develop suitable vendor sourcing & selection process, implement and monitor supplier performance. New vendor set up and approval, and contract management. Drive supplier value add through process and product/service improvements –Cost, Quality and Delivery improvements. Support departments in contract negotiation & identifying alternative/2nd source suppliers. Expand existing supplier agreements to cover commercial aspects of supply Work cohesively with Warehouse, Logistics, and other departments to ensure timely receipt, and despatch of goods to both manufacturing and the final customer, as well as returns to the business. Ensure the appropriate amount of inventory is maintained on site to feed manufacture, and in line with the financial requirements. Work collaboratively with finance to ensure information if provided to allow timely payment of supplier accounts. Support the business through the planning and procurement of materials/equipment required in non-commercial ADC manufacturing processes. Essential Experience We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. As a key member of the organization, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement, planning, and inventory principles, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, source, and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance, arrange forecasting, planning, and analytics while generating reports to support decision-making. This role requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in supply chain management, combined with expertise in ERP systems, will be key to success in this role.
