A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to join a household brand for 12 months. Client Details A retail business in the sporting sector that has been operating for over 100 years. Description Provide procurement expertise encompassing sourcing, purchasing, contract and supplier management Manage supplier relationships and ensure successful delivery of products/services to locations across EMEA Resolve financial discrepancies and chase outstanding invoices, working closely with finance teams Package, ship, track and record deliveries of IT hardware Maintain stock levels in local sites and frequently analyse product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems or shortages. Liaise with project managers within the business where projects require IT procurement Manage, record and maintain: IT Contracts across EMEA IT Documentation for standards, processes and vendors Inventory of IT hardware, software and licenses across EMEA. Financial documentation and records for auditing purposes. Produce reports for IT and Finance management, such as spend analysis, contract terms and budgeting. Support procurement activities in other categories / departments outside of IT (e.g. Operations, HR and marketing) as necessary.Profile Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience of either or all: Procurement, Inventory Management, IT Administration Understanding of countries and currency within EMEA. Experience and proficiency in basic finance procurement (AP) Keen interest in IT Deadline driven Effective communication skills Excellent problem solving, planning and prioritising skills Continuous improvement mindset Conscientious with attention to detail Ability to drive/travel would be beneficial but not an essential requirementJob Offer 12 month fixed term contract £30,000-£35,000 + benefits Hybrid working with two days a week at home Flexible working hours to suit you - start time between 7-10 AM and a finish between 3-6 PM On site gym and employee discount on products
