Responsibilities within your new role

The Procurement Manager role is a varied one that requires you to manage and oversee sourcing capabilities and supply chain for products and services. You will also be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, continually identifying areas for improvement to drive performance and business results, as well as performing risk management assessments for supply contract and agreements. You will also be required to prepare tender responses based on client requirements, ensure all procurement activities are compliant with relevant regulations and policies, as well as reviewing supplier invoices on a monthly basis.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for this role as you will be required to liaise with internal departments and external suppliers on a regular basis. You must have a positive attitude, along with proficient IT skills working with Microsoft Office. Lastly, a CIPS Level 4 Certificate in Purchasing (or similar) as well as a current UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role. We are looking for someone with flexibility as this role will require you to work in varying locations.
