Job Description

  • Implement a sourcing strategy to ensure the business performance targets are achieved, including authorisation framework and hybrid ordering model
  • Lead on all purchasing activity for the business, ensuring that total cost of portfolio is managed efficiently and effectively
  • Management of Capex procurement cycle from working with stakeholders to identify the business need, sourcing and procuring products and services to reviewing the performance post-delivery.
  • Sourcing of new direct and indirect spend requirements, both new demand/need and alternative suppliers to ensure continued supply, lowest total cost, and risk mitigation
  • Mediate and resolve issues with service supply contracts, acting as a point of escalation for the operational team
  • Support business with changes to need on existing services and goods, developing contracts to meet the change
The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience of using purchasing systems and processes
  • CIP’s qualified or working towards
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
  • Strong sourcing negotiation experience
