We are working with an automotive wholesale company for the following postion: -Procurement Assistant
Please note this is a Full Time Office Based Role - 40 Hours pw (Mon-Fri)
Requirements
- Must have advanced level of knowledge using Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle /Trailer parts/Automotive industry would be an advantage but not essential.
- Must be confident with suppliers either face to face or over the telephone.
- Organized and punctual
- Knowledge of forecasting systems would be useful.
- Confident in communication
- Managing suppliers to maintain our excellent service and availability levels.
- Analyzing parts requirements using our in-house system and suggesting/placing orders with suppliers
- Studying sales/forecast trends and highlighting cost/supply opportunities.
- Liasing with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered to our requirements
