HR Services is a truly global team established within EY Global Talent supporting Talent Transformation with world class experiences, consistent business execution and digital enablement across all our service lines. HR Services and Talent are working together to transform the way our processes and technology support our EY population globally, by the introduction of new processes, technology and roles through the Symphony Talent transformation program.

We have an opportunity for a project Manager / Coordinator to support key HR process and quality management related projects which align post deployment improvement elements of that transformation.

The opportunity

The HR Process team play a key role in improving the employee experience by designing global processes which achieve quality business outcomes. As we transition those designs into new operating models and environments we are focused on agile continuous improvement. We are focused on quality management and process mining to inform decisions around risk mitigation and process improvements.

The Project Manager / Coordinator will provide project support to these two initiatives covering the creation of project plans, execution of the plan and deliverables and assessment of the outcomes against the objectives.

Given the nature of this role, we are looking for an exceptionally organized and articulate project management candidate who understands risk and compliance methodologies, has HR functional knowledge, has the ability and desire to work and consult with global Talent leadership and is a strong team player.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver clear, concise, high-quality plans and timelines, develop required deliverables
  • Understand the business strategies and project objectives, such as process, digital and experience agenda to ensure the plans support those business outcomes
  • Contribute or develop solution proposals/business case or return on investment assessments for project deliverables and outcomes
  • Deliver value to the project by demonstrating an understanding of the integration of process, service delivery model, data and technology; articulate project impacts to existing solutions and/or efforts to stakeholders.
  • Manage and support the execution of the project plans and project delivery; project reporting, governance review and approval processes
  • Actively identify and manage project risks and issues and recommend solutions to effectively overcome these.
  • Act as a champion of the subject matter
  • Respond to needs of project leaders, sponsors and stakeholders, escalating as appropriate.
  • Recommend new approaches to leaders and influence final decisions, striving for continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across our internal teams and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of our methodologies and tools, actively knowledge sharing across the team and acting as a visible role model. Maintain required templates and documents
  • Support and lead other process projects/initiatives if time permits
  • This role can reside any of the following locations: GDS Locations
  • The role may require some travel and the need of work flexibly to attend calls and meetings with people across global time zones is essential.

Skills And Attributes For Success

To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • Experience of coordinating projects in any of the following areas:
  • HR Process Improvement
  • Process Mining or process data analysis
  • HR Risk and Compliance (internal controls frameworks, including testing of design and operational effectiveness)
  • Managed smaller projects that require the ability to create and implement timelines related to project deliverables, assign task and follow up on their completion and manage sponsor/stakeholder expectations of the outcome of the deliverable
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, develop robust project approaches and plans
  • Ability to use analysis to identify opportunities or risks, offer insightful and practical solutions
  • Ability to work independently with little direction, including the ability to manage ambiguity and the sensitive aspects of change
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Cultural awareness, to work in global teams and groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
