Responsibilities

  • Analyze the quality and safety risks related to the processes of reception, storage, manufacture and packaging
  • Determine the measures to be put in place to reduce safety and quality risks on site and coordinate the implementation with the relevant services and teams
  • Participate in determining critical production parameters and their control to ensure a repeatable finished product that complies with regulatory and customer requirements
  • Define, plan and direct technical activities in support of process validation / qualification operations for approved new products
  • Ensure the maintenance of validated products and provide technical product / process expertise for the smooth running of operations
  • Propose and manage continuous improvement projects related to production processes
  • Analyze and improve procedures and operating procedures in its field of intervention
  • Manage investment or improvement projects (compliance, reliability, efficiency)

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably Master or PhD in Engineering, specialized in process engineering, chemistry, pharmaceuticals or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in process engineering or production
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and purification processes such as chromatography, evaporation, crystallization and drying
  • Experience in project management, continuous improvement and GMP regulations in the pharmaceutical field
  • Fluent in French and English. German would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
