Role & Responsibilities

  • Specify, purchase, design, qualify and handover effective manufacturing systems to Asset Teams ensuring plant modifications have credible delivery plans
  • Interface with internal/ external technical experts and peers to maintain a broad knowledge of the technology and regulatory issues that impact on the biopharmaceutical businesses enabling technology options to be identified, evaluated, and compared
  • Lead the transfer and scale up of new processes and technologies to the manufacturing plants ensuring requirements for EHS and cGMP compliance are delivered on-time. Effectively realise this through manufacturing records
  • Transfer processes from R&D to Manufacture ensuring that manufacturing capabilities are reflected in the R&D development process
  • Support improvements to technology transfer practices by providing continuous feedback on process performance to owners
  • Resolve operational problems such as deviations/QIPs/ CAPAs by acting as System Owner

  • Qualifications And Experience

    The job holder requires an honours degree or higher qualification in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) (Essential)
    Chartered Member of IChemE or working towards chartership (Desirable)

    Work Experience In Process Or Pharmaceutical Industries (Essential)

    Experience in Technology Transfer (Desirable)
    Experience in Equipment Qualification and Control of Change (Desirable)
