Job Description

Venator is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join its manufacturing team. You will provide day-to-day technical and operational support to the operations teams, drive continuous improvement of the plant’s performance, identify and implement improvement opportunities and investigate incidents or process losses

Job Responsibilities Include
  • Perform all duties at all times in compliance with all Venator Corporate and EHS, business conduct policies, guidelines and the local site Life Saving Rules at all times. Complete all Corporate Compliance training.
  • Provide technical understanding, oversight, guidance and training to the operations teams for assigned plant areas. Primary point of contact to provide day to day support to the production team to resolve escalated problems from the shift teams. Work closely with the Plant Process Engineer and Process Technologist to escalate more complex and longer term issues.
  • Carry out process calculations as directed by the Plant Process Engineer
  • Provide process engineering support in the closure of actions (Management of Change, IPDS & P&ID updates, Incident investigations, audits, alarm/inhibits etc)
  • Provide projects team with plant information to support small project requests.
  • Lead small improvement projects and provide process engineering support for shift led improvements

Candidate Requirements
  • Chemical / Process engineering graduate, working towards chartered status
  • 2+ years of industry experience of the chemicals manufacturing sector would be a distinct advantage
  • Manufacturing operational experience including manufacturing improvement and delivery of measurable business benefits.
