Your role at a glance
The Process Design & Assurance (PD&A) function seeks to provide positive assurance to first line senior management that business processes across LGIM are operating effectively within a well-defined, documented and robustly tested operational framework.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertaking testing for assurance over operating processes across all areas. Testing will include the challenge of existing process, identification of vulnerabilities and control weaknesses.
- Undertaking reporting for assurance activities through regular and ad hoc reviews and investigations.
- Where reviews have been completed, ensuring recommendations for process improvement / change are discussed and agreed with operations teams, and executed by the agreed date.
- Providing meaningful root cause analysis to draw out themes and lessons learned, ensuring that analyses cover end-to-end processes.
- Ensuring remediation activities coming out of risk events / errors, reviews and recommendations are completed and back-tested effectively.
- Collating relevant and timely MI to support PD&A function and manager to form opinions on operational robustness, control issues and remediation activities.
- Building and managing relationships with stakeholders throughout the firm
- Driving collaboration with other parts of the risk framework, such as first line business teams, Process Mapping, Operational Risk and Internal Audit.
What we’re looking for
- Previous Risk Management experience
- Knowledge and experience of process mapping
- Quality Assurance testing experience
- Operational resilience exposure
