How can you change it up?

Joining our Architecture and Engineering team as a Principle Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, you will be accountable for the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) portfolio and its full life cycle, across all active CityFibre sites nationally. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting architecture design, feasibility & cost studies
  • Definingthe M&E FEx and FAC lifecycle
  • Working with Passive Architecture in the optimisation of CityFibre assets
  • Definingthe strategy around FEx, FAC etc. monitoring
  • Being the point of escalation for Engineering and Tier-3 support teams
  • Managing key vendor relationships on a strategic basis & run major procurement contracts

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who is experienced with vendor management and business case & financial modelling. It is crucial that you are skilled in mechanical and electrical datacentre designs and operations. Alongside this, it will be highlybeneficial if you are familiar with any of the following technologies;
  • AC Electrical Plant
  • DC Electrical Plant
  • UPS and back-up power
  • Fire Detection and Suppression
  • IT Air-conditioning
  • Asset security, alarms & access control
