Responsibilities: As our Principal Technical Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role as the primary contact and escalation point for our premium customers. You will take ownership of network issues reported by your assigned accounts. You will be required to restore service and provide problem resolution while maintaining excellent communication and engagement with your customers, field teams, and management. Reproduce customer-reported issues in a lab environment. Collaborate with engineering on new and existing defects, and proactively engaging with customers to support upcoming changes. As a Principal Technical Support Engineer, you will share your expertise through creating articles, guides, and internal training materials, as well as providing coaching and mentoring within the team. Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field. In depth experience in the networking space with excellent technical knowledge of wireless networking. Extensive experience in an enterprise Technical Assistance Centre environment. Thorough commercial experience in providing technical support to a variety of different audiences Proficiency in resolving complex issues in multi-vendor environments. Over 5 years of experience in handling various networking technologies such as STP, ACLs, VLANs, Multicast, IP, VSP, FOP, ICMP, Stacking, MCT, IPv6, VoIP, SNMP, Port Security, RADIUS, AAA.
