Key Responsibilities

  • Leading technical delivery of highway engineering projects and key technical input into multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Project management and delivery.
  • Act as Technical Lead or Technical Reviewer on projects.
  • Maintaining and developing excellent client relationships.
  • Line Management of a team of engineers, technicians and apprentices.
  • Supervising and developing multi-disciplinary global teams to deliver.
  • Support the business in winning work including representing the business at networking events, preparing bids and tenders and establish, maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective internal and external clients.
Key Requirements
  • BEng, MEng or MSc Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • IEng or CEng with a relevant professional institution or nearing CEng status with same.
  • Extensive experience of working with our key clients, e.g. Local Authorities, National Highways, Developers and/or major Contractors.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing project delivery for multi-disciplinary highways schemes.
  • Experience in highway alignment design including links and junctions.
  • A thorough comprehension of technical standards relating to highways design with experience in identifying and seeking approvals for departures in standard.
