Our Mergers & Acquisitions team is currently going through a period of significant growth in the market whilst also servicing an existing large client base. To support the successful delivery of this growth ambition the team are looking to appoint a number of Senior Consultants to manage and deliver a range of projects, while supporting on further client development to capture the growth in the market.The Ideal Candidate Will Need To
- Lead consulting engagements across the range of Due Diligence, ESG and Sustainable Finance projects, acting as ERM’s key point of contact with project clients, delivering excellent value and quality service.
- Work with ERM’s Partners to develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships to generate new and repeat business with target clients; this will require you to be involved in developing proposals, including written content, pricing, and client presentations:
- Building relationships with selected financial organizations, eg Private Equity firms, Commercial Banks, development financial institutions and export finance organizations;
- Supporting EHS Due Diligence, investor-driven ESG/Sustainable Finance opportunity development with both existing and new clients
- Project manage medium to large, complex due diligence projects from local to global scale for private equity and trade clients
- Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including completing proposals
- Have demonstrable ability to:
- work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- work cross-culturally with ERM teams around the world
- have good attention to detail
- have good organisational and multitasking capabilities
- maintain focus and motivation
- Analyse information to understand and articulate commercial consequences of EHS and social issues
- Supervise project team(s),coach and mentor junior staff
- Understand the interrelationships between ERM practices and policies and how these are applied within the business model(s)
- Collaborate across regions and global practice communities
- Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery
- Ideally have multiple sector experience, including O&G, manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, infrastructure
- Ideally have experience in both acquisition and vendor due diligence
- For more senior positions, bring client relationships to ERM
