Job Advert: Part-time Primary Teaching Position (September 2023) Veritas Education are seeking a qualified and passionate Primary Teacher to join a local Primary School within the Blackburn area. This part-time position is available from September 2023 and offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. The successful candidate will deliver lessons in Art, Design, and Religious Education (RE). Position Details: Role: Part-time Primary Teacher Days: Tuesday to Friday Work
Hours: 4 days per week, covering Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time Subjects: Art, Design, and Religious Education (RE) Specialisation: The school does not require a specialist; a qualified Primary Teacher is preferredResponsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in Art, Design, and RE to primary school students Develop creative and stimulating teaching materials and resources Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues to ensure an integrated and cohesive curriculum Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school’s development Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progressRequirements: Qualified Primary Teacher status Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teaching Art, Design, and RE Passionate about providing high-quality education and nurturing students’ development Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Adaptable and innovative teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environmentApplication Process: To apply for this position, please submit the following documents to (url removed): Cover letter highlighting your qualifications and relevant experience Detailed curriculum vitae (CV) including educational background and employment history Names and contact information of at least two professional referencesThe School are committed to providing a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for their students.
