Flourish Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher for a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Year 5/6 mixed class. The Primary Teacher role is on a full-time basis and will commence from September, the successful candidate will be on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client is a small village school in Stonehouse with an Ofsted rating of Good. The school has a great environment with a caring and friendly team that all want to support each other. The ideal candidate is expected to have experience in working with a year 5 or 6 class and experience working within Key Stage 2 (KS2). The successful candidate is expected to undertake full planning and marking responsibilities. The Primary Teacher role Deliver planned lessons to a class of up to 30 with engaging and creative methods. Create a positive learning environment. Work with a Teaching Assistant to provide care and support to pupils in the class. Share workload and lesson plans with Teaching Assistant. Effectively manage the behaviour of pupils. Marking and assessing the work of the pupils Required skills and experience for the Year 5/6 Teacher role. Must have relevant teacher status: QTS primary, NQT primary and ECT primary accepted. Ability to manage a classroom with Excellent communication skills. Advantageous working within a Key Stage 2 class. Experience working with SEN pupils desirable but not essential.
