Job Description

Chalk has an exciting new role for a Primary Teaching Assistant to support children with autism at schools in Waterlooville. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

To be considered for this TA role you will need:

· Experience supporting children with additional needs

· 3 months minimum childcare or young people experience

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to build and develop positive relationships with students and staff

· A flexible and patient approach when working with children

Additional requirements:

· References confirming suitability for role

· Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willing to apply

· Eligibility to work in the UK
