Detailed Job Description And Main ResponsibilitiesYou will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click “Apply now” to view in Trac .Main duties of the jobResponsible for taking the lead role for the operational management of the agreed elements of GMS contracts within the division, interpreting policies to reflect local needs within the overall operational framework.At the operational level, lead and co-ordinate local implementation of compliance to NHS Regulation and Primary Care Contracts, as well as Welsh Government’s policies, procedures and initiatives pertinent to primary care.Use expert and specialist knowledge of the statutory primary care contracts and regulations to advise and provide expertise on primary care issues in relation to commissioning, contracts, and performance both to the HoPCC / PCCM and to contractors.Operate within broad national and local procedural guidelines, with minimal supervision, and exercise a significant measure of independent judgement in order to respond to, advise on and resolve basic contractual issues and concerns. This will involve decision-making on contentious issues where there may be a number of courses of action.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.To work in the UK, all candidates who are not UK or Republic of Ireland (RoI) nationals require sponsorship to obtain either a , unless you have permission to work via another route.
