A highly organised and highly numerate Pricing Analyst / Pricing Data Analyst / Excel data analyst is required for our market leading construction engineering client based in the Oldham region of Manchester to be responsible for accurately analysing, pricing and co-ordinating pricing information of the company’s products and services. This data analyst role would suit an experienced data admin professional with excellent Excel experience (Advanced Excel is essential) good experience of data analysis, performance data accurately and timely. Data admin coordinators with good experience of data analysis tools, expert excel and experience of SAP or similar ERP systems would be of interest also. This exciting data analysis role would suit an experienced database professional with the above data analysis, excel experience looking for the next challenge in their data management career. Based within the finances team and reporting into the Operations manager, the pricing analyst will be working closely with all departments and teams ensuring the correct prices for the companies products and services are in place.For example you will be setting prices, analysing and interpreting data to make sure prices are not too low or high if sales orders are low etc. Therefore you must have excellent communication skills, a team player mentality but be able to work independantly to work accurately, efficiently and to timescales. You must have advanced level Excel experience and skills and be at an expert level for this role. You will be a crucial member of the company as will be helping to drive improvements, consistency of pricing for all customers and clients across the range so you must have strong influential skills and drive. The ideal Pricing data analyst / Data Analyst dmin candidate will have the following key skills and experiences;

• Good data analysis / excel data administration experience – ideally in a similar data analysis, data interpretation, accounts excel administration data admin or similar role where you have anaylsed the data onto the systems within a commercial setting
• Good experience of analysing, interpreting, supporting data systems, forecasting data support
• Excellent Excel experience –;Advanced Excel knowledge and Expert Excel level experience is essential
• Highly numerate, analytical, meticulous and very close attention to detail and data
• Resilient with commercial industry experience ; work experience within industry commercial environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills, organisation skills and workload prioritising ability
• Excellent team player and excellent communication skills to work with all areas of the business and all teams and people
• SAP experience or similar ERP systems experience (desirable)
• Excellent IT skills

Key responsibilities of this pricing analyst role;

• Creating Excel reports and analysing pricing data
• Discuss and set list pricing for all products and services
• Ensuring pricing information is kept up to date on a daily basis
• Establishing pricing procedures and coordinating pricing reviews
• Updating pricing for new products and monitoring competitive trends
• Developing and establish pricing structures by company and industry sector
• Market research, competitor research ensuring companies prices are competitive
• Ensuring exchange rate conversion for all relevant pricing.
