We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for providing project management support for our pre-clinical oncology pipeline. We would welcome applicants with prior experience of project management as well as those with pre-clinical drug discovery experience looking to move into a project management role. In this role you will interact with scientists, program managers and board members and help to facilitate scientists working on complex, multi-disciplinary drug discovery programs. You should combine organizational skills with a confident personality and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and tracking spend versus budget
- Assisting with setting up CRO contracts
- Writing minutes
- Task tracking
- Helping the Project Lead to run project team meetings
Essential:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to translate impact of decisions on budget and timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High level EXCEL proficiency
- A background in pre-clinical drug discovery
Desirable:
- Experience managing meetings and writing minutes
- Experience setting and monitoring budgets
- Knowledge of project management tools
- Previous experience within a project manager position
