Cotswold Chine School, part of Novalis Trust, is a progressive charity working with children with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties many of whom have had Adverse Childhood Experiences. Cotswold Chine School is set in the beautiful tranquil Cotswold countryside and comprises of a school and 9 residences for up to 60 children and young people.

We are looking for a Practice and Training Supervisor to work as part of a well-established team within Novalis Trust. This role involves having the responsibility of ensuring that all new and existing staff working in the residential homes of Novalis Trust, are supported to apply all aspects of the Novalis Model of approach, through being trauma informed, attachment focused, and relationship based in their practice, with ongoing guidance, feedback and support by their allocated Practice and Training Supervisor.

The Novalis Model covers all aspects of the Trust’s work in its pursuit of positive outcomes for young people and adults and as a result, the role would be suitable for all experienced staff members working in the education, care, youth support or clinical therapy teams. All Practice and Training Supervisorsonce appointed will embark on an enhanced comprehensive training and professional development program, covering all aspects of the Trust’s model, including Trauma Informed and Attachment Focused specific courses, along with clinical and therapeutic programs such as the NMT(Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics), the Educational Neurologic brain breaks curriculum, SRM Social Resilience Model Training as well as training in Working and Supporting Families.
