Main duties of the job

Work in collaboration with Clinical Governance, Ward Manager/Senior Nurse to advance the culture where openness, life-long learning, reflection, evidence based practice, education and training planning and implementation is accepted, respected, acknowledged and secured as the way forward for Nursing within the Health Board.

In collaboration with the Ward Manager/ Senior Nurse support the nursing teams to effectively deliver the changing health care agenda, to standardise practice across the Division/Areas and effectively implement National and BCUHB Standards.

Support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate BCUHB’s purpose and values.

Be responsible for monitoring the attendance of staff at mandatory and other training and education programmes and report compliance to manager.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
