At Adaptive Accountancy, we’re looking for a accountant to help us navigate through a period of growth and beyond We’re looking for a confident individual who can demonstrate:-ACCA/ACA Qualified or AAT with over 5 years or more of practice experience
  • An all-round technical knowledge of tax and accounting
  • High standard of ethics
  • Excellent social skills to deal with clients in a friendly manner
  • They take real pride in their work, including the little things You will be expected to:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Develop strong relationships with our clients
  • Give advice on tax, accounting, and general business advice to clients.
  • Develop and oversee junior members of staff
  • Deal with our arch-nemesis HMRC Important Notes
  • The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary bracket £35,000 - £45,000
  • Flexible start/finish times
  • No timesheets
  • No formal dress code
  • Excellent office environment, massive desk, great PC, and sometimes, I’m funny
  • Our Director of Morale is a French Bulldog (who may occasionally play with squeaky toys)
  • Due to the location of our office, it would be preferable if you can drive, though there is a bus stop, < 50m away, we don’t expect you to travel to clients.
  • Quarterly meals out - fancy restaurants only
  • Excellent CPD (mandatory) / Further opportunities for study (optional, encouraged but not compulsory) The opportunity has arisen due to significant growth, and this role will support the ongoing needs of the clients.
