About Our Client

Leading Fintech business in London who are looking to hire an interim Senior PR Consultant for a 6 months contract

Job Description

  • Development of PR strategy (pro-active/re-active) and supporting communications strategy
  • Manage the PR calendar and strategic activities over the next six months
  • Review and monitor public content across broadscale channels that reflect the company position in the UK; corporate website, corporate communications/assets, B2B social channels such as LinkedIn and any public reviews of the company within the UK (e.g. google business reviews)
  • Working across brand, customer marketing and internal communications to ensure awareness of critical PR activities in the UK market supporting the brand and their portfolio products - handle any internal messaging on their PR activities
  • Must be able to handle sensitive issues that might arise, including engagement of relevant stakeholders and 3rd parties
  • Support with any media training for the employees taking part in PR for the Company or acting as spokespeople
  • Tracking of key media references and real-time monitoring of newswire/online coverage in partnership with our PR agencies
  • Support with any briefing, scenario planning, Q&A on key launches, fact sheets and media assets about the brand’s products and services
  • Central co-ordination of both pro-active and re-active press enquiries or planned activities to ensure relevant stakeholders are engaged, prepped, and review relevant content

The Successful Applicant

Financial services or Fintech experience

Previous experience working within a regulatory business, advising on proactive/reactive media enquiries

Completed a role as a Senior PR Manager, Head of Media in an in-house roleF

Interim, freelance or contract experience

Availability to start quickly - interviews in July

Reporting into the Head of Customer Marketing
