The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for their first role in an in-house PR and Marketing team.

You will be coordinating content for a range of communications for the wider business working with internal and external contacts, using multiple forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of Hakim Group.

Being part of our vibrant team will mean you will be responsible for supporting and producing a variety of resources enabling the delivery of projects from concept to production.

Main Responsibilities

• Supporting the Marketing team to develop impactful campaigns
• Working closely with graphic designers to create effective content
• Campaign analysis and presentation of results internally
• Liaising with printers and suppliers to manage print quotes and costs
• Assist in the on-boarding process for new businesses that join the group
• Potential to take control and responsibility for individual projects and use own initiative
• Support the PR team across all activities for set business areas with the possibility of taking on responsibility for one of these categories
• Producing engaging and relevant content for target media
• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
• Build and co-ordinate relationships with press contacts
• Assist PR Executive to keep PR contacts database and tracker up to date
• Liaising with, and answering enquiries from, media and other organisations
• Collating and analysing media coverage to distribute to wider team
• Take on administrative tasks to support the team

The Ideal Candidate

• Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism or Business degree or similar qualification
• 1+ years’ experience within a marketing/PR role is preferred
• Strong creative flair & passion for marketing
• Knowledge of print production
• A great communicator with strong written skills
• A positive and proactive self-starter who isn’t afraid to share ideas
• Attention to detail and accuracy is an absolute must

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £19,000.00 per year
