Introduction to Ogilvy:
Our vision is to inspire brands and people to impact the world. To create big ideas that make a significant contribution to the planet, society, and the bottom line. We believe in today’s world this is the best way for our clients to achieve sustainable growth.

We achieve this by breaking down the barriers that restrict talent and ideas.

Which is why our teams work fluidly across 5 capabilities: Advertising, Innovation, Experience,
PRand Health. This allows us to not only operate but innovate at the intersection of capabilities and talent. We believe impact and magic lies at this intersection. Ogilvy scales this by seamlessly connecting and accessing the deep cultural expertise of 132 offices in 83 countries.

The result is multifaceted ideas for our clients that drive impact and are born from the intersection of platform x culture x technology.

We call this
Borderless Creativity.

Your Role at Ogilvy:
Role Summary
As an Executive at Ogilvy you are learning the core skills of managing and making that will form the basis of your future career. You will partner daily with program managers and account leaders to learn about the agency business (operational and delivery excellence, efficiency and speed to market) as well as the client’s business and competitor context, and will take on smaller projects, which you will manage end to end with the support of more experienced colleagues. You bring a can-do attitude combined with a strong desire to learn and grow and your passion for the work shines through. You exhibit strong potential to develop relationships with clients and colleagues based on mutual respect and partnership. You will be working across multiple accounts, primarily the Bacardi and Ford portfolios.

General Skills
  • Strong media relations skills - a brilliant and tenacious media relations operator who understands what a good story is and who to sell it into.
  • Passionate about all things media, keeps a close watch on what’s trending in the news agenda across lifestyle, tech and mainstream
  • Proven experience securing feature stories, broadcast coverage, spokesperson profile in a variety of trade and national media
  • Incredibly organised with a high attention to detail

Behaviours
We’re problem solvers. We don’t just spot problems (that’s the easy bit) we come up with smart, creative solutions.
We’re active. We don’t sit around assuming someone else will make something happen, we’re driven to get up and do it ourselves.
We’re always hugely ambitious for the work. Not content with ‘good enough’ because we all know that’s not actually good enough.
We’re adaptable, not inflexible. That way we’re always open to explore new ideas, experiences and channels.
We’re team players, not lone wolves. Because we’d be crazy not to make the most of the huge pool of talent around us. Plus it’s much more fun to work together.
We use our EQ, as well is our IQ. People who ‘get’ people are so much better at their jobs, and nicer to be around. If this sounds like a team you’d like to be part of, please get in touch
