Powertrain Electronics Systems Engineer - Matlab - Simulink - Calibration tools (INCA, ATI Vision, CANape)This is a great opportunity to work with one of the largest globally renowned automotive manufacturers, they have offices based around the world and are currently growing exponentially within the UK!Powertrain Electronic Systems Engineer to join full time, to develop safety critical powertrain systems for vehicle applications.Responsibilities
  • Capturing and analysing customer requirements using Polarion.
  • Designing control algorithms & strategies (using Matlab/Simulink) and autocode generation of production intent code
  • Designing system diagnostics and CAN communication specifications
  • Development of safety monitoring strategies to the EGAS standard
  • Developing validation tests for electrical test bench, HiL and vehicle
  • Provide expertise for investigations and problem solving activities
  • Calibrating sensor interfaces and diagnostic strategies
  • Calibrating servo controls and regulators
  • Supporting the customer’s engine and vehicle testing
  • Supporting system and hardware DFMEA
Mandatory Skills
  • Demonstrable industry related experience of developing Real Time Embedded systems.
  • Understanding of Matlab-Simulink blocks
  • Use of CCP calibration tools (eg INCA, ATI Vision, CANape)
