Power Platform Developer

M&S are currently looking for a Power Platform Developer. In this role, you will scope, design, develop and rollout low/no code end to end solutions utilising the Microsoft Power Platform alongside the wider Microsoft environment that can be built and deployed quickly to drive improved collaboration and productivity across the Foods business. You will work in collaboration with data engineer’s, BI developers and central IT functions to ensure solutions are scalable and supported.

• Scope and design power platform driven solutions with business users
• Project manage the construction of solutions to support Food business operations as part of wider transformation projects
• Coordinate testing, training, and rollout of solutions
• Work with relevant teams to clear technical blockers to accelerate power platform usage
• Work with Change Management/Finance teams to measure impact of solutions and report to business
• Provide technical leadership on the appropriate technologies for building and deployment of solutions, including where the power platform is not suitable
• Plan and provide daily operational support
• Champion technical standard methodologies through the Reporting function, Food Data Science and Analytics team, and wider Digital and Data community
• Upskill the team on the power platform and pro-actively find examples where the power platform can help drive efficiencies

• Essential: Experience in full life cycle BI projects from consulting and needs analysis gathering through to development and delivery
• Essential: Data visualisation/user experience design skills/ testing solutions and measuring impact, either independently or by collaborating with other analysts
• Essential: Good experience using PowerBI, PowerApps & Power Automate as well as strong SQL knowledge
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer PL-400 accreditation
• Experience using Logic Apps & Data Factory
• Experience using Microsoft Azure, Databricks or Synapse, version control software such as Git (GUI or command line)
• Food retail or FMCG experience
