Blue Arrow is working in partnership with an Industry leader fabrication specialist in Cheshire and are looking for experienced powder coater/painter’s to join their highly skilled team.LocationThere are bus routes which pass by the site which are 317, 37, 38. The closest bus station to the site is called "Rookery Tavern".PayPay Range: Basic day rate 10.50 to 12.60 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)Pay Range: 6-2 shift rate 11.81 to 14.18 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)Pay Range 2-10 shift 13.13 to 15.75 per hours (dependent upon skills and experience)HoursHours: 07:30am to 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30am to 12:30pm Friday but could be asked to work a shift patterns (Shift Allowance will be payable on top of basic pay) 06:00 to 14:00 hours (Friday finish at 12:00 hours) and/or 14:00 to 22:00 hours (Friday 12:00 to 18:00 hours) dependent upon customer demands and business needs.Overtime: Available but not guaranteed.Overtime rate: Between 13.97 to 16.76 (dependent upon basic pay rate). For any overtime hours worked over 48 hours the rate increases between 15.75 to 18.90 per hour (dependent upon basic pay rate).Contract Type: PermanentJob RoleAs a powder coater/painter, you will be responsible for:
  • Applying the powder coat process to steel components
  • Setting up the flow of powder from guns to achieve the required thickness of paint; visual inspections of coated parts; ensure that correct powder is used and of the correct quality.
  • Ensuring clean down of all equipment and that there is no colour contamination ready for the next process as regular quality checks are conducted.
  • You will be using a powder coating gun to conduct this task.
