An opportunity with excellent Development opportunities has arisen as a Supervisor on a modern Free Range Egg Farm.

This is a challenging and rewarding long term role for a hands-on and committed individual, Your attitude is more important than having previous experience, as full training will be provided. However some Livestock experience would be desirable, alongside people management experience.

The Successful Candidate will receive fully funded Internal & External training. The role can include the option of a 3 Bedroomed House (This can be discussed with candidates selected for interview)

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, dedicated to taking responsibility for a high standard of flock care, welfare and performance. You will start your training working alongside and covering other staff on a fully stocked unit, with the view to taking on your own unit in time.

Responsibilities will typically include:

Working As part of a team and independently on...

- Monitoring Production performance

- Using effective communication skills to direct staff and act as a troubleshooter / initial point of contact.

- Ensuring bird welfare is maintained

- Covering other staff members annual leave (after training period)

- Maintaining safe working practices

- Vaccinations and medicating Birds (Training Provided)

- Accurate record keeping

- Egg packing and grading

- Flexibility to cover last minute breakdowns or increases in work load

Plus, Other tasks commensurate with the role or any other relevant or delegated duties required.

You will get regular structured time off, the average working week would be 45 Hours with every other weekend off.
