The College wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to participate in the Flex-Cool-Store project. The successful applicant will lead a work package on the policy issues associated with the future of cooling in buildings and will investigate policy maker perceptions of this issue, developing this limited policy change literature.

This EPSRC funded post is available from August 2021 until 31 July 2024 at 0.8 full time equivalent, i.e. 4 days per week. Requests for home working in the UK will be considered.

The post will include carrying out primary research, expected to be based on grey literature reviews and elite interviews with experts and policy makers. You will also be expected to write up this research and submit it for publication into leading academic journals. Alongside the research, you will also be expected to contribute to the wider project work with colleagues at the University of Cardiff and support project communications and management. The 3 year nature of the post also means that we are looking for someone who can become a core part of the University of Exeter’s Energy Policy Group, in which you will be based. We will also provide some freedom for you to continue your research interests and support you to become an independent researcher.
