Soleus Podiatry is the new brand for a 15-year established podiatry practice in the friendly town of Ilminster. We have outgrown our current model, even through lockdown, and are looking for a motivated and engaging podiatrist to help make Soleus the place for foot treatment in South Somerset.

We hire for attitude as well as skills, so don’t be shy if you feel you haven’t got the right experience, we will mentor and grow you into a fantastic clinician. Of course if you already have experience, that’s good too, we can hit the ground running.

This Summer we are going to move into a self-contained suite with fantastic new facilities, including rehab space.

The town of Ilminster itself offers lots of recreational facilities, independent fair trade shopping, designer boutiques and artisan foods. With excellent connections to the whole South West it is an ideal base for outdoor lifestyle or communting to the office in equal measure.

Desired qualities:

Responsibilities will include:

-all aspects of clinical podiatric care (we do nail surgery, verruca treatments, biomechanics, general care and home visits);

- actively encouraging patient engagement and preventative actions;

- Undertaking clinical investigations and making referrals;

- recommending the best course of treatment;

- high standards of cleanliness, record keeping and provision of treatment;

- input ideas for the smooth running of the business, getting involved with social media content and marketing videos.

Must be registered with HCPC and have medical/professional indemnity insurance (reimbursed). Must have full drivers license.
