An established software technology company based in North Yorkshire is recruiting for a Platform/DevOps Engineer to join their growing company. This is a permanent, full time, hybrid position with an immediate start.

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm (Flexible hours offered)

Salary Range: £35,000 - £65,000

Responsibilities To Include
  • Develop and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Well-Architected framework
  • Design and follow procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Automate and execute efficient operational processes, accurately and securely
  • Migrating more systems to use infrastructure as Code and container orchestration with Docker
  • Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments
  • Supporting and maintaining reusable software
  • Supporting back-end development in Python using Django and SQL databases with PostgreSQL
  • Supporting front-end development using JavaScript/Typescript and Vue.js framework
  • Automated deployment of application to AWS via Bitbucket pipelines
  • Provide responsive Level 2 technical support
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar engineering role
  • Experience with Cloud Hosting preferably AWS
  • Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Linux operating system environments
  • Process-oriented with great documentation skills
  • Excellent problem - solving and troubleshooting skills
