Job Description
  • Day to day operation of Boilers, Water treatment, Compressors, Infrastructure/legionella testing associated plan on the above sites.
  • To manage fuel levels for all equipment re Boilers and other ancillary equipment associated with the Bristol site.
  • Carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance and operational routines to the boilers, compressors, infrastructure and associated plant, that may be required within our contract, utilising the company maintenance management system (Maximo) via PDA.
  • Provide cover/callout in line with agreed procedure.
  • To install new plant as directed in accordance with Company procedures and current best practice.
  • To ensure that all third party contractors who carry out work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant company procedures and site specific procedures where applicable.
  • To complete all administrative functions correctly and promptly
  • To assist in the training and development of other team members
  • To be aware of the key financial tartgets for the site he works on and, in conjunction with the site manager, to meet his responsibilities in the most cost effective manner.
  • To seek opportunities to enhance the Company’s re;lationship with its existing customers and develop business potential.
  • Ensure that the company HSE values are promoted throughout all areas of activity on site to other members of the site team and our contractors.
  • Ensure that all plant work, in-house or contracted, is risk assessed in accordance with company procedures.
  • To be aware of a waste categories as per the waste procedure and to deal with all wastes in accordance with that procedure.
  • To be aware of the effectsof our activities on the environment and to ensure that those activities have the minimum impact, by ensuring maximum efficiency at all times and that no material or fuel is used in excess.
  • To ensure that all chemicals used on site used either by ourselves or contractors, are properly COSHH assessed, and used in a safe manner
  • To ensure that all waste remain in consent before leaving site.

Additional Information

Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
