A prestigious Aerospace company is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join their busy and expanding engineering facility.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Engineering Manager at our Verwood factory, the successful Engineer will work as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment liaising closely with our Customers, our production Department and sub-contract suppliers on all aspects from the supply of raw materials, machining, assembly and surface treatments of Aerospace components.
  • Assist in production of detailed instruction for the manufacturing of aerospace components to the requirements of AS9100.
  • Working with customers to understand their requirements.
  • Creating a bill of materials for the manufacture of a parts.Working with specialist suppliers for processes that may be required for the completion of a part.
  • Detail out the processes and working instructions that are required for the production of a part to the Customer’s requirements.
  • Work with other members of the company to procure and/or design and produce any tooling that may be required for the production of parts.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm (39 hours)Salary: up to 60k per annum depending on experience25 days paid holiday per year plus paid bank holiday, pension and Life assurance.To apply for this excellent opportunity and more detailed information regarding the position, please call Alan and submit your latest cv.
