We are currently looking to recruit a Planning Coordinator to support the production team to achieve optimum efficiency, effectively protect the business assets, ensure adherence to administrative procedures and report variances, whilst delivering excellent customer service.

What does the role involve?
As Planning Coordinator, you will be assisting in formulating and maintaining production capacity planning, helping with the daily planning of work for the manufactured goods on site.
Liaising with sales, production and transport, you will monitor order progress, and help in providing lead times for the commercial team and track completed work from the factory to ensure jobs are completed on the system in real time, then chasing jobs due for dispatch
You will arrange direct to site deliveries and goods being delivered from Cullompton site, to ensure goods are manufactured and dispatch in a coordinated way and notify customers of collection dates or planned delivery dates and liaising with them around specific delivery requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will Require
  • Experience of planning and administration within in a production environment
  • Good data accuracy, IT literacy, good level of numeracy
  • Analytical/data analysis experience
  • Experience of dealing effectively with suppliers and customers
