- Dayshift, Monday to Friday

- Permanent staff position

- Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

A dynamic Planner with experience in a fast-paced, process-oriented environment is required to join a thriving company in Sunderland.

Based for their flagship UK facility, you will primarily be tasked with providing production planning and materials support to Operations at the Sunderland facility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning daily/weekly/monthly production tasks and schedules accordingly to customers’ requirements.
  • Monitor daily production performance to resolve any potential issues in a timely manner.
  • Investigate production problems, analyse root causes and provide solutions.
  • Planning operational resources including temporary agency workers
  • Managing level of raw materials required for production, stock call offs, stock orders
  • Promote a culture of effective cross-functional and flexible working on site to ensure labour flexibility to meet fluctuations in demand
  • Communicate production process with Customer Services, Suppliers and Management.
  • Completing monthly KPI reports for Operations.
  • Time and attendance management

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience as a planner in a similar environment is essential

- Knowledge and working history of working within a high integrity environment is preferred

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft products

- Excellent attention to Detail

- Able to motivate and challenge a team
