Marshall Jakeman Marine are currently looking for a time served mechanical/pipefitter with hydraulic pipework experience to carry out the pipefitting of their new vessel which is currently under construction. The ideal candidate will have experience if installing hydraulic systems

This is an ideal opportunity for somebody to gain experience in all types of marine piping systems and be involved in the system design and installation.

Ideally candidates will have experience in the following pipework:

Hydraulic pipework, cutting, bending & fitting compression fitting pipework

Stainless- cutting, fitting and crimping mapress pipework for fresh water systems

Carbon steel pipework – 1” and ½” schedule 40 for fuel systems.

Exhaust systems – 6” schedule 10 stainless

Role is currently for a 12 month period, with the opportunity to become a permanent role within the operational team.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 9 months

Salary: £23.00 per hour
