PIP Disability Assessor

  • Working primarily from home doing remote assessments over the phone or on video calls Hybrid-working A mixture of working from home / remote and in the office (minimum 1 day per week in the local office). Office-based
  • Permanently conducting face-to-face assessments in your local assessment centre. There are full-time, part-time and flexible contracts to suit your needs (e.g. school friendly hours), once your 6 weeks training is complete. Requirements All you need to start a new role as a Disability Assessor within the Assessment Team to get yourself a better work life balance with no antisocial hours or shift work are: Valid NMC or HCPC registration A minimum of 12 months’ experience as a fully qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in a relevant setting. The flexibility to commit to full time training for 6 weeks . A positive approach to learning as all training will be provided by the in-house, specialist training team. You also do not need to be vaccinated to work in any of the sites. Salary Starting salary of £35,000 with a £1000 increase at 6 months and a further £1000 increase at 12 months service bringing you to £37,000 annually A bonus scheme that could earn you another 10% of your salary bringing your annual earnings to £40,700 OTE. Training and Support from the Clinical Team is on hand for the length of your employment and once in the role your Clinical Lead is always on hand to guide, mentor and coach. There is lots of different progression paths you can take, once fully embedded in your role, whether that be - leadership, training or mentorship.
