Due to retirement, we are currently looking for a replacement pig stockperson/farm worker for our mixed enterprise farm. General duties would involve all aspects of pig husbandry for approximately half of your working time (including some washing), and then the other half of working time would involve helping others with general work work such as maintenance, helping us construct our own new farm buildings and general tractor work.
Some pig farming experience would be beneficial - however reliability and a willing attitude to pick up practical skills and to listen is more important. Training and help will be provided.
There is the possibility of a house with the job
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £7.00-£13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
