Main duties of the job
  • To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall physiotherapy

management of patients in collaboration with carers, support workers, health

staff and agencies.
  • Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage

and be responsible for their own clinical caseload of clients, following

therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to

minimise disabilities.
  • To work independently using own initiative, within level of competence.
  • To work in a variety of settings that may include hospital units, day centres, work placements, clinics, clients’ own homes and leisure facilities.
