We are delighted to advertise this exciting Physician Associate post at Lancashire and South Cumbria. The post will predominantly be based in the Bay Locality, at The Orchard, Lancaster. The post is full time (37.5 hours per week) working on a shift pattern between 9am - 5pm. It will provide you with an excellent opportunity to gain experience of psychiatry, whilst further developing your skills as a Physician Associate.Main duties of the jobYou will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist. The main part of this role will involve supporting the clinical management of patients and service users. You will have a weekly timetable that will outline your clinical commitments such as ward rounds, handovers, supervision and training. There will be support to help you develop skills in mental state examination.About UsLancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area.   • MSc/PG Dip Physician’s Associate Studies from an accredited UK training programme
  • Passed the UK RCP National Certification Examination for Physician Associate (PANCE)
  • Registered on the UK Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR) to be able to work.
  • Membership of the Faculty of Physician Associates
