We are currently looking for a PHP Back End Developer (with eCommerce experience) for a high end, luxury marketing client.

You will be an experienced PHP Back-end developer joining our IT team. You will be responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as for the integration of the front-end part. You will have outstanding programming skills and a great passion for developing beautiful and innovative applications.

Responsibilities:???????
  • Main focus on coding and debugging plus collaborate with Front-end developers
  • Be involved and participate in the overall application life cycle
  • Define and communicate technical and design requirements
  • Provide training, help and support to other team members
  • Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
  • Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean code
  • Learn about new technologies
  • Stay up to date with current best practices
  • Conduct UI tests and optimise performance
  • Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and system administrators
  • Follow new and emerging technologies
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with PHP
  • In-depth understanding of web development
  • Experience with JSON, XML, REST & SOAP APIs
  • Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player, highly-motivated, with a creative mindset
  • Good organisational, administrative, planning and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby and Python
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience with nginx and apache 2
  • Familiarity with CMS frameworks
  • Experience with package managers such as NPM and Composer
  • Understanding of Jira
